La ministra de Seguridad de Argentina, Patricia Bullrich, colocó este lunes la primera columna del cerco de 200 metros que colocará en la frontera entre Argentina y el Estado de Bolivia.
“Estamos poniendo el primer palo para el cerco que va a ordenar la entrada en Aguas Blancas”, afirmó la autoridad argentina.
Bullrich se hizo presente hoy en la localidad de Aguas Blancas, ubicada en la norteña provincia de Salta y cuyas autoridades municipales pusieron la firma al contrato con la empresa local que se encargará de la construcción de la cerca, que se espera comience en los próximos días y que tendrá unos 200 metros de largo y unos 2.5 metros de alto.
El cerco abarcará desde la oficina de Migraciones a la estación de colectivos de la localidad salteña. Según el contrato, la empresa Construcciones y Servicios tiene un plazo de 60 días para finalizar la obra.
“Queremos que esté todo ordenado para que las personas pasen por el lugar que tienen que pasar, por el paso legal, para que no salten la pared tan fácilmente”, declaró la ministra argentina.
Además, dejó en claro que no es una medida contra la “gente boliviana”, sino contra el narcotráfico.
“Todo esto no es un problema contra la gente (boliviana) es un problema contra los narcotraficantes. Que los bolivianos lo entiendan, nosotros necesitamos defendernos de los narcotraficantes, como creemos que ellos también tienen que defenderse de los narcotraficantes”, afirmó Bullrich.
El cerco a ser instalado se extenderá por 200 metros desde la terminal de colectivos hasta la oficina de migraciones.
Entretanto, la directora de Seguridad de Frontera, Virginia Cornejo, detalló que las cuatro fuerzas federales (Policía, Gendarmería, Prefectura y PSA) participarán en el control del tráfico en la frontera con Bolivia, además de que se colocó equipamiento en la zona, como un nuevo scanner, una playa de estacionamiento e iluminación.
A finales del mes de enero, la Cancillería de Bolivia expresó su preocupación por el anuncio de levantar una cerca de 200 metros en la frontera de ambos países, y recordó que los temas fronterizos deben ser tratados a través de mecanismos de diálogo bilateral.
“El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia expresa su preocupación ante el anuncio del Gobierno de Argentina de instalar una cerca de 200 metros en la frontera entre ambos países”, establece parte del comunicado oficial.
En ese sentido, anunció que solicitará, a través de los canales diplomáticos, la información sobre este tema para emprender las acciones que correspondan, aunque insistió que temas de fronteras deben ser tratados a través de los mecanismos respectivos.
“Los temas fronterizos deben ser tratados por medio de mecanismos de diálogo bilaterales establecidos entre los Estados para encontrar soluciones coordinadas a temas en común. Cualquier medida unilateral puede afectar la buena vecindad y la convivencia pacífica entre pueblos hermanos”, añade el texto.
